VP Pence: U.S., South Korea, Japan Committed To Ending NK Threats

Vice President Mike Pence reaffirms the joint commitment from the U.S., South Korea and Japan to end threats from North Korea.

He claims the U.S. and its allies need to continue to isolate North Korea both economically and diplomatically, until the rogue nation ends its nuclear program.
Pence adds, his meeting with South Korea’s President, which took place as he attended the 2018 Winter Olympics, was encouraging.
Meanwhile, the crippling international sanctions imposed on North Korea appear to be having a major impact on the rogue nation.
Pyongyang’s UN ambassador claims his country is unable to pay its share of this year’s United Nations budgets because of the penalties against its foreign exchange bank.
The country is asking UN officials for help in paying the $184,000 it owes.
North Korea is blaming the U.S. and its allies for the inability to pay the UN, saying the sanctions are cruel and uncivilized.
The Trump administration has pushed for a peaceful solution to North Korean threats, including devastating economic and diplomatic sanctions.
