“We need the wall — going to get the wall. We don’t have the wall, we’re never going to solve this problem…” — President Donald Trump
President Trump is set to visit California and one of his stops will be at the U.S.-Mexico border.
The president will arrive in San Diego Tuesday morning, marking the first time he has visited the Golden State since taking office.
The president is expected to tour the border wall prototypes, which have been built and tested over the last several months in San Diego County.
He will also get an update on the construction plan for the proposed southern border wall.

The construction of the wall was one of the president’s biggest campaign promises as part of enhanced border security and immigration reform.
However, California — a state overrun with left-wing progressive activists groups and lawmakers — has so far proven to be a problem for the president’s agenda.
California lawmakers have also passed legislation which punishes construction companies who participate in building the wall, barring them from future state contracts.
On top of that, the state’s attorney general has promised to prosecute employers who turn over their illegal immigrant employees to federal agents.
President Trump has said the fight against illegal immigration, especially with dangerous gangs like MS-13, is going well, but no thanks to California.
“And yet we get no help from the state of California. They are doing a lousy management job. They have the highest taxes in the nation, and they don’t know what’s happening out there…Frankly, it’s a disgrace.” — President Donald Trump
The president has criticized California’s so-called “sanctuary state” policies, and has even floated the idea of removing federal agents as the state continues to obstruct his ‘America first’ agenda.
The commander-in-chief is also expected to attend a Republican National Committee fundraiser in Los Angeles during his visit.
Governor Jerry Brown has also invited the president to Central Valley to view the state’s high-speed rail construction project, but it’s not clear if President Trump will take up the invitation.
