San Diego County Considers Suing Calif. Over Sanctuary Law

Orange County’s defiance of California’s sanctuary law may soon spread south to San Diego County.
Mayor Sam Abed of the city of Escondido and Councilman John Masson are supporting the federal government’s lawsuit against the state’s sanctuary law.
Both officials have put an initiative on the city’s agenda to be considered in April and expect it to pass.

This comes after Orange County voted to join the federal lawsuit against California over its policies that shield illegals.
President Trump applauded the county, saying his administration stands in solidarity with its citizens as it pushes to keep them safe from criminal illegal aliens.
