China is restricting their citizens access to the Catholic church by banning the online sale of the Holy Bible.

Searches for the bible on major online retailers in the communist country now come up empty.
Copies of the “good book” can only be obtained through state-sanctioned churches in the predominately atheist country.
The ban comes as Beijing and the Vatican continue to seek a deal on the appointment of bishops.
The deal will give Rome more authority over the appointees in China, which worries some Chinese Catholics.
