Another school shooting in Florida leaves one student hospitalized.
The incident happened Friday morning at Forest High School in Ocala north of Orlando. The injured student was rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the ankle. The suspected gunman, a 19-year-old man who does not attend the school, was taken into custody shortly following the shooting.
All public schools in Marion County were placed under a code yellow lock-down. Gov. Rick Scott has been briefed on the incident.
This latest shooting comes as the Democrat Party continues to push for gun control reform as amid a national walk-out for school safety.
