President Trump is taking action to prevent caravans of Mexican immigrants from entering the country.
In a tweet Monday, he announced he has ordered the Department of Homeland Security to not let the large caravans cross the border.
Despite the Democrat inspired laws on Sanctuary Cities and the Border being so bad and one sided, I have instructed the Secretary of Homeland Security not to let these large Caravans of people into our Country. It is a disgrace. We are the only Country in the World so naive! WALL
He also slammed Democrat leaders for supporting sanctuary policies, calling it a “disgrace.” The president went on to say the U.S. is the most “naive” country on immigration issues.
He then reiterated his call for a border wall as at least one large group of migrants is reportedly close to the southern border.
President Trump also took a moment to criticize Mexico, saying the country needs to stop illegal immigrants from entering the U.S.
In another tweet he said it’s crucial to get funding for the border wall.
Mexico, whose laws on immigration are very tough, must stop people from going through Mexico and into the U.S. We may make this a condition of the new NAFTA Agreement. Our Country cannot accept what is happening! Also, we must get Wall funding fast.
President Trump even hinted that Mexican immigration control may be introduced in the new NAFTA agreement.

The president has previously blasted NAFTA — even before being elected — saying he wants the trade deal renegotiated so American workers can benefit from it.
