President Trump is slamming the World Trade Organization for unfairly favoring China.
In a tweet Friday, the president noted that despite China being “a great economic power” the organization considers it to be a ‘”developing nation.”
He pointed out this gives China “tremendous” benefits and advantages over the rest of the world, and especially over the U.S.
The president also reiterated that the U.S. was “badly represented” in the past and noted the WTO is unfair to the nation.
This comes after the president floated the idea of imposing $100 billion in additional tariffs against China.
