U.S. And France To Work On New Nuke Deal With Iran

President Trump and his French counterpart have agreed to work on a new deal as they find common ground on the contentious Iran Nuclear Deal.
During a joint press briefing Tuesday, President Trump and Emmanuel Macron agreed that the Obama-era accord is a bad and insufficient deal, reiterating that Iran must not have nuclear weapons.
President Trump added, Iran needs to end its support of terrorism and said Iran will have big problems if they restart their nuclear program.
The president also pointed to the alliance the U.S. has with France, saying it helps in maintaining the maximum pressure campaign against North Korea.

Earlier in the day, President Trump said the friendship of the U.S. and France is an example to the world.
His remarks came during the arrival ceremony of French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife to the White House Monday morning.
During the arrival ceremony for French President Macron and his wife, President Trump said “France is America’s oldest ally” — a partnership which began during the American Revolutionary War.
He thanked the French president and the French military for their support in the recent military campaign against Sryia.
“Your visit, Mr. President, comes at a critical time for our alliance,” stated President Trump.
Macron said his stay was of great importance as America represents endless possibilities.
Both leaders shared thoughts and prayers with the Bush family as well as to those affected by the recent attack in Canada.
