White House Will Sustain Maximum Pressure Campaign On North Korea

The White House is remaining cautiously optimistic on North Korea, but says it will continue its maximum pressure campaign on the rogue regime.
During Monday’s press briefing, Sarah Sanders said although Pyongyang is showing positive signs of moving toward denuclearization, no sanctions will be lifted until concrete action is made.

She said the U.S. is not just taking North Korea at its word, and will keep up pressure until full denuclearization is achieved on the Korean peninsula.
Sanders also addressed Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Washington, where she touched on some issues that will be discussed.
On the list is the possibility of U.S withdrawal from the Iran Nuclear Deal. Although Macron is expected to to persuade President Trump not to pull out of the Obama-era accord, the president has made it clear that he views the agreement as a bad deal.
