Iran Not Willing To Accept Changes To Nuclear Agreement

Iran remains defiant towards U.S.-led efforts to make changes to the nuclear deal.
In a video released Thursday, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed the country will neither reform or supplement the current agreement.

Zarif has taken to YouTube on Thursday, May 3, to criticize President Donald Trump’s threat to withdraw from the nuclear deal, saying Iran will not “renegotiate or add onto” the atomic accord. Additionally, he accused the U.S. of “consistently violating” the terms of the deal, and claimed they are forcing other countries to not do business with the Islamic Republic.
He added, there is no room for the deal to be worked on.
“Let me make it absolutely clear once and for all: we will neither outsource our security, nor will we renegotiate or add on to a deal we have already implemented in good faith,” stated Zarif.
President Trump is expected to pull out of the agreement later this month if the E.U. does not make necessary changes to the deal.
