President Trump rails against terrorism, saying ISIS has been decimated within the past year.
For the first time as commander-and-chief, the president hosted Nigerian President Muhammmadu Buhari at the White House on Monday.
In the Oval Office, Buhari and the president emphasized they would deal with the Boko Haram terrorist group in particular during their bilateral discussions.
Buhari thanked President Trump for his invitation to the White House, and voiced his support of the U.S. military, which he said has helped the government deal with the Jihadist militant group in the region.

The president later unleashed on the U.S.’s weak immigration laws, calling them “obsolete” and “pathetic.”
During a joint press conference with the President of Buhari, President Trump called upon Congress to crackdown on deadly immigration loopholes, which he says are exploited by terrorists, traffickers and criminals.
He also emphasized no other country has poor border policies like the U.S.
Nigeria’s president later applauded the U.S. for its efforts against the Islamic State in Syria, and credited President Trump for his role in deterring terrorists in the region.
