The president is making his desire for a legislative fix to immigration clear, saying if something is going to be done it’ll need bipartisan support.
The president said Republicans could easily get an immigration bill through the House, in a tweet Sunday.
He said the ultimate test is in the Senate where Republicans will need 10 Democrats on board to pass any legislation.
He pointed out Democrats are continuing to resist and aren’t on board ideologically, as they are pushing for open borders.
The president once again reiterated the importance of midterm elections.
He says if Americans want his agenda to go forward, they have to elect Republicans come November.
