The Maryland man accused of going on a shooting rampage, hunting down victims and opening fire with a shotgun is denied bail.
Jarrod Ramos,38, faced a judge for the first time Friday and was charged with five counts of first degree murder.

Prosecutors said Ramos was ordered held without bond, because he planned the attack, barricaded doors so victims could not escape and shot someone who tried.
He allegedly used a tactical approach during the attack at the Capital Gazette newsroom Thursday.
Officials said Ramos was known to authorities and had previous problems with the publication.
He will face either a preliminary court hearing or grand jury indictment within the next 30 days.
Ramos worked for the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington D.C. and was fired in 2014 over ‘security suitability concerns.’
His termination was the result of an investigation and he filed suit afterward.
