On Twitter Saturday, Sanders said she was told by the owner of the Red Hen in Lexington to leave because she works for the president, and she politely left.
It happened Friday night, when Sanders was seated with seven family members and was asked to leave mid-meal.
Sanders went on to say the incident says more about the owner than her, and that she does her best to treat people, including those she disagrees with, respectfully.
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so

This comes after DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, and Senior Adviser to the President Stephen Miller were harassed at two other restaurants this week.
